Because I fall in love with ideas easily, have an inordinate amount of time on my hands, and an ordinate amount of available carrds.

Mercurial, stubborn, and insatiably curious: Lissandra is a talented but difficult woman with a slightly concerning zeal for retrofitting magitek weaponry.Equipped with a strong moral compass and a weak sense of foresight, she's spent her life in constant motion; always seeking out someone to help, something interesting to do, or for something new to learn.
(Main)

Avelle Kolaire is, in a lot of ways, a woman of excess. It might have been the competitive nature between siblings, or the need to establish herself in Ishgard... but whatever the cause may be, Avelle grew into a woman incapable of half-measures.
(Main)

Khoridai is an energetic, go-lucky young man with a whole lot of drive to do good and a whole lot of talent for getting roped into nonsense shenanigans. He's just a boy on his own with one paintbrush, two gil, three jackets, and at least thirty questions.

Species? Ishgardian Orthodox boogeyman. Occupation? Collector of things that should not be collected.(Disclaimer: Not actually a heretic. Not a Voidspawn either. She's terribly sorry to disappoint.)

If you find yourself in Ishgard and down on your luck, sick, or injured, Evariste is the man to call. He's a talented physician who's dedicated to helping any and all of Ishgard's citizens.

While Noam may be mute and can be incredibly reclusive, his keen eye for quality and detail serves as the basis for his talent as a craftsman, purveyor of goods, and hunter-scholar.

Stubbornly optimistic, J'nelhah finds fulfillment in traveling to new places and meeting new people. She's smart as a whip with a bleeding heart; a combination that makes this outgoing and sweet as cakes Miqo'te eager to help however she can.

Hishashi Masaru is a bizarre man with a seemingly infinite well of knowledge for history and magic who's recently found himself under the employ of Avelle Kolaire as an artifact testing consultant.

Takara is domineering woman capable of convincing those around her to dance to the tune she sets. A very handy skill for a courtesan and assassin both, hm?(Takara is a benefactor and guest employee for the Blue Rose. However, her profile on this page is SFW!)

A place to reference the various NPCs that I've made to supplement my OCs' backstories. I took the screenshots, might as well show 'em off.

Fun Facts Cannot cook for shit. Has a dog named Minnie (short for Menace).
Appearance & Details
height Very short for an Elezen.
build Wiry yet muscled; petite by default but toned up through years of training and manual labor.
complexion Lightly tanned and speckled faintly with freckles, sun scars, and callouses; predominantly on her arms and hands.
makeup/markings Eyes are often lined messily with khol and dark shadow. She occasionally wears lipstick.
hair Healthy but messily cut and maintained. A warm, dark brown that's nearly black.
voice A smooth yet gruff baritone that's a strange blend of naturally husky and a pack-a-day smoker.
features Has a myraid of unimpressive but varied scars and burns on her forearms. Her most noticeable scar sits on her left cheekbone, just beneath her eye.
style Dresses well, fluctuating between utilitarian and oddly flashy. When in the field, she wears a mixture of leathers, metal armors, and magiteck gear. And many, many bags for tools and scrap. Almost always wears the same pair of earrings, made for her by her father.
weapons/tools Specializes in a set of modified nouliths, various guns and explosives, and a custom-made gunblade based loosely off of the Skysteel aethertransformer that cycles air and fire aspected aether to provide its additional firepower.
Being the youngest member of a large family comes with a significant amount of freedom, something which Lissandra takes complete advantage of. While her hobbies, interests, and obsessions changed frequently as she grew up, technology remained the one constant variable. As an adult, her talents, interests, and motivations have coalesced into a life's purpose to improve the efficacy and accessibility of magitek in order to integrate it into the average citizen's every day life. While Lissa isn't enlisted in any military, it's obvious that the foundation of her fighting technique is rooted in Ishgardian military training to those familiar with it. On the field she primarily played the role of salvager, battle medic, and saboteur. Unsurprisingly, her bedside manner is terrible. Her primary invention is a custom aethertransformer system that integrates with her rifle, gunblade, and set of nouliths. The transformer works similarly to those created by the Skysteel Manufactory but is keyed to absorb and convert external aether alongside the user's personal reserves of aether. Her gunblade can fold and compress into a small-ish rectangular disk that she wears hooked to her upper back when not in use. The interior technology and crystal mechanisms of her nouliths have been removed from whatever traditional casing they were in and implanted into what appear to be the husks of Garlean-style pistols. When not in use, they remain strapped to her lower back and hip holsters and appear, at a glance, to be regular pistols. It's easy to tell they aren't regular pistols when they're flying around her firing lasers; but beyond that, the only obvious indicator that they're non-standard is the lack of any trigger mechanism.
Personality
Temperament: Confident, Brash, Sarcastic

What she lacks in imposing stature she makes up for with a confident poise and gait. Despite her occasional efforts to conceal her upbringing, her overall demeanor, manner of speaking, and frankly, her audacity, identify her as Ishgardian upper-class. While she frequently downplays her own intelligence she hasn't quite dropped the accent nor the tenor of being well-educated.Lissa is simultaneously overwhelmingly kind yet incredibly bitchy. Vocalized genuineness is a rarity but her actions often veer towards selfless and generous. It's not uncommon to see her go out of her way to assist people (even someone she just met) but hem and haw about trivial problems or to get a rise out of someone she's friends with.
History and Hooks
⯐ Lissa grew up as the youngest member of the Ishgardian minor house: House Kolaire. Given her house's wealth being situated in trade and craftsman work, it's equally likely that an Ishgardian who is nobility, commoner, or lowborn may have met or known Lissa when she was younger. She also worked in the Skysteel Manufactory for a time, holding a few intern-esque positions and was involved in the assembly of the aetherotransformer firearm components, which remain one of her primary weapons to this day.
(Those inclined towards political gossip may recall she was engaged to a commoner for a time, though the wedding was called off. She left for Bozja shortly after.)⯐ The sudden and unexpected death of her eldest sister, Norvette, when Lissa was 15, threw her into a deep depression. Her family sent her and Avelle to stay with their cousin, Fran, in Sharlayan in an attempt to help her recover and regain her curious spark. Lissa and Avelle remained in Sharlayan for around 5 years and while neither formally studied at the Stadium as they weren't residents, they did both engage in scholarly pursuits and study under private tutors and scholars who were family friends/family colleagues.⯐ Lissa served as a sellsword and medic on the Bozjan front for around three years. While there, she built up a reputation for being recklessly successful yet consistently dependable. She also became a person to go to when you needed to get your hands on weird or Garlean tech.⯐ Lissa spent a long time viciously resenting the Garleans. With the recent upheaval of the world's political stage, she's finding herself struggling to reconcile that rage. To that end, she's been providing her considerable experience with Garlean magitek and machinery to help with their reconstruction efforts.⯐ She's got nouliths (strike 1), she's not Sharlayan (strike 2), and she's too good with them for the profession to be newly acquired (strike 3). This may be intriguing (or worrying) to Sharlayan characters.⯐ Much to her sister's dismay, Lissa has a 'bad habit' of tinkering and creating tech and tools and then immediately giving it away to people for free who seem like they would benefit from it more than her; as well as modifying or repairing gear and items for folks and not charging them.

Appearance & Details
height Taller than the average Elezen.
build Slender but athletic as a result of her expeditions.
complexion Fair skinned with minimal scarring, freckles, or other skin details.
makeup/markings Frames her eyes with a light purple shadow and often wears a subtle, muted red lip. Has a beauty mark under her right eye.
hair Cool, dark black hair, carefully coiffed to keep it out of her eyes when she's working.
voice Has a soft-spoken but confident manner of speaking.
features Has a severe but well-healed scar on her forehead.
style Her outfits tend to be modest in style and she is most comfortable in dresses, skirts, and field robes. She is almost always impeccably dressed, even in more casual settings and has appropriate outfits for whichever culture she's visiting.
weapons/tools Avelle is not a very combat oriented person, but she does have a blade and frequently has various talismans and enchantments on hand. She often also has divination tools on her person, such as a deck of sixty.
Avelle is the owner of the Balanced Bole and The Emporium. She's a scholar first and businesswoman second; having trained under scholars both within Ishgard and Sharlayan as well as under multiple tutors of magical and historical traditions from various nations. Before striking out on her own she worked at the Athenaeum Astrologicum as a lecturer and archivist. Now, she runs a business that contracts out to historical societies for a variety of services. As one of the only members of her family with any actual magical aptitude, Avelle uses her talents and education to imbue her creations (often jewelry and trinkets) with wards and spells. She understands the theory of Arcanium and Aetherology, though she struggles to actually cast and channel spells not already stored in an enchantment in full. However, she's been pursuing unique applications of spellcasting through differently attuned conduits, which have vastly improved her ability to weave spells independently.Avelle's use of astrology has looked differently throughout the years. Formally the majority of her training is rooted in Ishgardian astromancy. Informally, however, she was introduced to astrology during her time in Sharlayan with her cousin, Fran, whose wife, Eluyate, was a practitioner of the art. She kept up her study of Sharlayan astrology in the privacy of her own home for many years after returning to Ishgard but has recently been able to participate with the integration of Sharlayan and Ishgardian astromancy. She also has begun to include and research Far Eastern geomancy into her practice. This was one of her motivations for setting up in Hingashi alongside the restoration efforts of the post-Garlean occupancy in the nearby regions.
Personality
Temperament: Composed, Shrewd, Sincere

Avelle is a generous woman with a dry sense of humor and a penchant for biting off more than she can chew. Still, she manages to thrive through a mixture of luck, good contacts, and hard work. She can throw out scathing sarcasm with the best of them and play along with the false niceties of nobility and the wealthy, but often seems tired afterwards. When not blending in socially, she's more reserved and soft-spoken.Avelle's dramatism is belied by the indirect, subdued ways in which she displays it. Like a domino effect, Avelle's actions are often subtle and simple until strung together, bringing to light the extravagance of her desires and ideas. As a result of this, she often doesn't explain the full picture, preferring to withhold the end goals of her ideas and keep them to herself. This unfortunately extends to talking about herself, resulting in her coming across as secretive and far more mysterious than she actually is. This has made it hard for her to make close friends.
History and Hooks
★ Avelle is a member of House Kolaire, a lesser noble house within Ishgard that is pledged to House Haillenarte. She also attended and eventually taught at the Athenaeum Astrologicum. Her and her House have a good reputation with Ishgard's commonfolk and lowborn as well; being highly philanthropic, eager to sponsor Knights-to-be and students, and happily willing to hire lowborn for their smithshops.★ Avelle currently lives and hosts her businesses in Shirogane and Ishgard. It's likely to have seen her about or seen her advertising around the cities.★ She spent around 5 years in Sharlayan with her youngest sister, Lissandra, after the passing of their eldest sister Norvette. They stayed with their cousin, Fran and her wife Eluyate, who is a trained astrologian and was Avelle's first introduction to astromancy. Neither sister formally studied at the Stadium as they weren't residents but they did both engage in scholarly pursuits and study under private tutors and scholars who were family friends/family colleagues.★ She's hired her share of adventurers and freelancers over the years; occasionally for her own personal projects but primarily on behalf of others. It's very possible she's hired or contracted your character at some point, or your character has heard she is a source of work ranging from 'relatively easy' to 'hard' with fair pay.★ She has a variety of contacts from various fields, spanning mercenary, Ishgardian nobility/military and Eorzean Grand Companies, mercantile (both legal and black market), and magical research.★ Avelle takes appointments for fortune-telling, primarily using a deck of sixty to do card readings. She has a stellar reputation. For those familiar with astromancy, her techniques seem to be an interesting blend between Ishgardian astromancy, Sharlayan astromancy, and Far Eastern geomancy.★ She also makes jewelry, trinkets, art, and imbued accessories. She sells pre-made pieces as well as takes commissioned work.★ She has a reputation for going out of her way to work for and support cultural restoration societies, often giving away recovered artifacts she could have sold or heavily discounting her excavation/archival services for them. Most recently, she's been aiding Ala Mhigan and Doman groups.

Information and Hooks
The Emporium was the first of Avelle's ventures to open it's doors. It's a blend between an artifact consultation service and a sales marketplace specializing in artifact restoration, artifact classification, art, and exotic goods. On the consultation side, Avelle works with a variety of colleagues and collaborators specializing in a variety of fields to research, catalogue, and potentially restore magically-inclined artifacts and relics.Occasionally, when working with artifacts who's magical function is useful but who's implementation is outdated and/or dangerous, Avelle and her colleagues will design new systems to implement the original functionality in a safer manner. However, historical accuracy is always the key consideration for any project undertaken. The Emporium's inventory is curated with careful consideration and pulled equally from local artisans, her own work, and approved collaborators. Most of the Emporium's inventory on the commercial side are historically inspired relics and art or commissioned foci and trinkets. However, she also sells, trades, and curates larger, more significant works and more dangerous materials for free companies, academic institutions, cultural organizations, museums, etc.

Fun Facts Is an excellent cook and loves children. Has a twin sister.
Appearance & Details
height Shorter than the average AuRa male.
build Fit like a runner with strong arms.
complexion Tanned with the occasional tan line depending on where he's working and what he's wearing.
makeup/markings Often wears a bright pop of pink-ish red shadow in the corner of his eyes.
hair The roots of his hair begin a warm-toned blue that slowly transitions into purple and eventually into pink at the ends. He has a small tail's worth that's often gathered in the back but most of it's short and poorly tamed.
voice His cadence dips and rises in a manner not unlike a cat who trills instead of meows.
features Has a spattering of scars across his body. Some are clearly from combat but a good chunk are from various kinds of manual labor. He also frequently has colorful stains on his hands and arms from fabric dye.
style Loves red and most of his wardrobe contains the signature color. He tends to wear things that give him a lot of mobility which often translates into being barely dressed by most city folk's standards. He also enjoys wearing skirts and flowy jackets and robes.
weapons/tools Has a kanabo that he sometimes has on hand, especially when he knows he'll be around other Xaela. He's currently training as a pictomancer and so frequently also has that toolkit on hand.
Khoridai is originally and primarily trained as a weaver and textile artisan. While he enjoys working a loom and creating fabric the most, he is also a skilled garment maker and can make a variety of things such as clothing, housing fabrics, rugs, and accessories such as bags. He enjoys the work and his tiny apartment is often filled to the brim with his work and the textiles he's purchased to flip or create with.He was trained to fight with spears and large axes but never really appreciated using either. Upon moving to Kugane, however, he won a kanabo from a duel and has fallen in love with it as a weapon. He doesn't fight often but he keeps up with his training incase anyone ever wants to brawl. Recently he's stumbled upon pictomancy, after buying incorrectly peddled canvas and paint believing them to be normal. He hasn't found a mentor, only someone to explain why his paintings came to life, and so he's been kind of... winging it.
Personality
Temperament: Happy, Distractible, Genuine

Where most Xaela are considered assertive, prideful, and traditional... Khoridai is upbeat, outgoing, and friendly. That's not to say that Khoridai has none of the familiar Xaela traits; he is confident in his prowess, reveres the traditions of his people and culture, and loves a good brawl. He's a bit naive when it comes to other cultures and living on his own, and often finds himself stuck in troublesome situations because of it. This is further exacerbated by the fact that the boy is just... well, he's a little daft. He's not stupid by any means, but he's airheaded and easily distracted and prone to acting or speaking without thinking too deeply. He also is prone to taking commands and listening to the authority of anyone who seems remotely worthy of it; though his friends and mentor are trying to train him out of the reflex.
History and Hooks
🐑In an effort to expand on the very non-existant lore for the Tumet tribe, I created a custom subclan for Khori. You're more than welcome to claim to also be from the subclan or use it in your own way! Read more here! Also! While I have some features about his twin sister decided, much of her is blank, and if you're interested in playing her, hit me up and we can discuss the possibility.🐑 Khori grew up in the Azim Steppe and likely met more than a few other Xaela during that time, especially with tribes more prone to trading than fighting. Further, any Tumet connections are certainly welcome! It's not a stretch to say Khori is familiar- it's not like he's a wallflower.🐑 Khori is a weaver by trade, like the rest of his family. He buys as many creations from fellow artisans as he sells his own.🐑 He's also an excellent cook and frequently cooks large meals for the community that live in his tenement building in Kugane. He also frequently assists his neighbors with various tasks or watching the community's children.🐑Koku is Khoridai's pet karakul, who he brought with him on his journey. Koku is his closest confidant and advisor, and the ornery beast is absolutely spoiled rotten by Khori.

Fun Facts Almost joined the Clergy, which would have been awful for everyone.
Appearance & Details
height Very tall for an Elezen.
build Toned like a hiker with minimal femininity.
complexion On the paler side with minimal age lines; though the lines she does have are most prominent around the corners of her eyes and between her brows.
makeup/markings Wears dark shadow around her eyes and also wears a dark stain on her lips.
hair Pitch black and straight hair that's cropped in a short and messy style.
voice Gravely as if from disuse, with a biting undertone of dismissal and boredom.
features Is relatively unscarred for someone who's trained as a lancer. Aside from her ear clasps she is very rarely ever seen wearing jewerly.
style Generally prefers to stick to darker styles and her style is as utilitarian as possible. While she does have 'casual' clothing for everyday wear, she tends to prefer to be either in her armor or in robes designated for magical study and travel.
weapons/tools Rheanne is competent with both the lance and scythe. She's rarely without some kind of magical foci either, though it may be hidden depending on where she is or who she's around.
Despite her aptitude for magic developing at an early age, Rheanne was expected to join either the Clergy, serve as a knight, or enlist in the military given that she was born into the primary branch of House Maret. Her family encouraged her to pursue a theological education as a compromise between the family's expectations and she even enrolled in Saint Endalim's Scholasticate for a brief time before withdrawing and pursuing knighthood instead. As a knight she has training with sword and shield and lance techniques though she heavily preferred using a lance. Her position as a house knight for her own house was ceremonial at best most of the time but she took her training seriously. After her exile, she left her lance behind and took to using a bardiche and eventually a scythe in an effort to keep her identity more hidden as she lurked in the Dravanian Hinterlands and the outskirts of Coerthas. Her primary field of magic has always been Arcanima, as the logical and systematic approach to magic suited her understandings of the world. That said, she'd often frame her magic, when displayed openly, as a mimicry of Ishgardian thaumaturgy. After her exile, her interests veered towards historically 'forbidden' magics, namely void-magic, hemomancy, and atherology with a focus on souls.
Personality
Temperament: Curt, Self-Reliant, Driven

Rheanne is a confident, prideful, and driven academic. Her understanding of right vs wrong is entirely based on intentions and actions. To her, nothing should be forbidden simply to know or understand so long as one's intentions for understanding are righteous. Very much a 'burn the forest to understand how trees grow from ashes' sort of person. She's an incredibly anti-social woman who's fully capable of being polite and considerate but who has absolutely zero desire or incentive to do so in most cases. She is, at best, respectful of proven colleagues and people who know their shit but she has very little energy for niceties and chit-chat. The notable exceptions are, naturally, members of her family. Unfortunately, many of her family within House Maret haven't forgiven her for the stain she put on their reputation and so she keeps them at an arm's length; something she's incredibly bitter and not-so-secretly hurt about.
History and Hooks
× Rheanne is part of House Maret, a lesser noble house pledged to House Haillenarte that's historically known for being a very devout military house. (The link above mentions House Maret towards the bottom for more info.)× Rheanne has always been a black sheep within Ishgard. She kept her studies mostly private as she chafed against the restrictions placed by the Holy See. It was only due to her family's reputation and her own discretion that she managed to avoid being investigated as a heretic and exiled for as long as she did. She did occasionally publish research prior to her exile, but there's a marked difference in content between her earliest works and her most recent, unfiltered research.× More than once she considered leaving Ishgard to study and practice elsewhere in the world but due to a love for her family and for her country she remained. After Nidhogg's awakening in 1563, however, Rheanne began to push her ideologies more aggressively. Bit by bit she attempted to encourage other scholars of magic in Ishgard to consider branching into other recognized fields of magic; specifically that of arcanima and (to a lesser extent) hemomancy. This led to her eventual investigation and self-exile around 1569. She was never formally tried as a heretic due to fleeing before she could be properly investigated, though that in and of itself was considered proof of her heresy.× Despite being labeled a heretic and believing that the Holy See's restrictions on certain fields of magical study was a hinderance at best and fishy at worst, Rheanne was not, in her opinion, anti-Ishgardian Orthodoxy nor was she pro-Dragon in any capacity. She had no more room in her heart for Iceheart's heretics any more than the average devout Ishgardian. These beliefs have changed, of course, post-Dragonsong War, but during her exile she would not have been friendly with most pro-Dragon/Pro-Unification heretics.× During her time in exile she traveled a fair bit, visiting each of the main city-states, Sharlayan, and even Thavnair. She also semi-frequently returned home to linger in the Dravanian Hinterlands and outer Coerthas; especially post Calamity. She kept mostly to herself but did meet and work with other scholars of magic.

Fun Facts Runs a clinic in Ishgard for its poorest citizens.
Appearance & Details
height Taller end of average for Elezen.
build Stocky with a broad shoulders and strong arms.
complexion Fair-skinned and has a healthy complexion- boy takes care of his skin! Has consistent dark under eyes, however.
makeup/markings Doesn't generally wear any makeup but does keep his beard trimmed neatly.
hair Shoulder-length and reddish brown; often kept up and mostly out of his face.
voice Speaks in a very measured, carefully maintained, and calm manner.
features Has a very prominent scar across his cheek. He also has a spattering of scars across his body though most are well-healed.
style Occasionally 'dresses well' but most commonly dresses very practically and for his profession as a physician. His clothing is very well loved and has been mended over time. When working as a physician he also often wears reading glasses.
weapons/tools Always has the basics of a first-aid kit on hand. He's trained with a sword and as an archer as well, though he doesn't often use them now that he's retired as a soldier.
First and foremost, Evariste is a doctor and medic. During his initial training at Saint Endalim's Scholasticate he gravitated towards studies that would lead him to working as a chirurgeon as part of the clergy. Fortunately, as Eva would put it, his aptitude for conjury and aether manipulation failed to meet the standard requirements for specialized chirurgeon training and he instead was pushed down the path of knighthood rather than that of the clergy. After graduating he remained enlisted in the military rather than pursuing a position of status.During this time he also pursued study as a physician and he was eagerly ushered into the ranks of field-medicine and triage. On the field, Eva primarily fought with a bow and arrow though he is also trained with a sword and shield. After retiring from the military, Eva has gone all-in on working as a physician. He's taken his salary from his time in the military along with the donations of a few wealthier supporters and set up his own clinic in the lower quarter of the city. While most of his clients are his neighbors- the poorer and more destitute civilians of Ishgard- many veterans whom he treated on the field continue to come to him for aches, pains, injuries, and therapeutic treatments. The clinic is funded primarily via donations and what meager profits he makes selling potions and medical supplies.
Personality
Temperament: Private, Considerate, Rational

Patience is a virtue and a very necessary trait for a physician to have. Thankfully, Eva has patience in spades. Professionally he's a compassionate, logic-driven man whose pride revolves around his consistency and ability to care for the sick and injured. His ability to rationalize combined with his desire to help makes him easy to get along with and he's not one to rock the boat, so to speak, unless it's a necessity as part of one of his client's care.On a personal level, however, he finds himself frustrated with any point of inadequacy he can find in his efforts and he judges himself harshly. He's a very private man and very rarely speaks about his own beliefs, past, or current life. His friends are few and far between though he has a great many acquaintances and colleagues. He lives a relatively solitary life and seems content enough with it.
History and Hooks
⚜ Eva grew up on in an orphanage and then briefly on the streets when he grew old enough to justify being on his own. He's not entirely sure of his age because of this. He managed to avoid getting into any serious trouble or problematic groups. Despite managing to secure a sponsorship to knighthood he keeps in contact with people he knew from his time in poverty and supports them as he can.⚜ Managed to secure sponsorship to attend Saint Endalim's Scholasticate when he was around 16 years old. While there he showed an aptitude for medicine and some conjury but had very little desire to become a member of the Clergy and instead sought to become a field doctor.⚜ Immediately enlisted after graduating and stayed part of the military until shortly before the Dragonsong War ended. About a year prior to the war ending his unit was overwhelmed and most perished in the attack. While Eva survived, the experience was traumatic enough (physically and mentally) that he was temporarily taken off of field duty. He hadn't been cleared to return before the war officially ended. Much like many other Ishgardian veterans, he's had a difficult time adjusting to the reality where dragons aren't Ishgard's mortal enemy.⚜ He now runs a clinic out of the lower portion of the city that's ultimately run as a charity. He receives donations from wealthier citizens and families on occasion but most often funds his clinic with his own money.

Fun Facts Is a member of the Tirnath Veena Tribe. Mute due to a throat injury.
Appearance & Details
height Average height for Viera.
build Fit but not necessarily athletic.
complexion Has a spattering of light freckles.
makeup/markings Often lines his eyes with a dark brown shadow to help them pop, especially when working with clients.
hair Warm brown hair styled into a straight, just off the shoulder bob that's swept back out of his face.
voice He can produce sound and occasionally grunts affirmatives, negatives, and inquiries.
features Noam has two aged but severe scars; one across his right eye and the other across his throat. His right eye has diminished sight but isn't fully blind.
style Dresses for comfort and utility primarily. His clothing looks well maintained but fashion isn't a primary concern for him at any point.
weapons/tools Is trained with dual-swords but prefers not to fight when possible. Always has bags and belts with hooks for additional bags for gathering resources or trading when out and about.
Noam has spent the majority of his adult life working as a craftsman and purveyor. As a craftsman he's most skilled with textiles but he's pretty handy with a variety of materials and is capable of making repairs/adjustments to common infrastructure such as housing, boats, carts, and common everyday items. He's very rarely seen without a toolkit and various bags and pouches; though the number does change depending on where he is and what he's doing.Growing up he was fascinated by the behavior of the wildlife around his village. Everyone, including himself, assumed he was destined to be a tracker. However, when he was a teen, he and his friends were ambushed by beast none of them were yet prepared to fight. The group managed to flee and escape, but not without injury. The beast managed to swipe Noam down the side of his face and across the base of his throat. The injury managed to partially blind him in his right eye and cause irreparable damage to his throat and vocal cords. The incident made Noam increasingly nervous, especially at the prospect of fighting, and caused him to withdraw. His tribe didn't abandon him; they found ways to communicate with writing, hand gestures, and simplified speech. But early attempts to communicate lead to enough instances of miscommunication that it prompted Noam to further withdraw in an attempt to avoid future misunderstandings.
Personality
Temperament: Reclusive, Efficient, Shy

Noam is a very withdrawn person; a wallflower by necessity. When left to his own devices, he's content to linger and watch and even before losing the ability to speak he was reserved and reticent. He deeply dislikes being misunderstood, which is why he'll opt not to even attempt to communicate unless he has someone nearby to assist in translation or unless it's absolutely necessary. He's relatively kind but not necessarily nice and often prioritizes his own comfort and soothing his own anxieties over being polite or reassuring strangers. That said, he hates immoral tradesmen or merchants and strives not to take advantage of anyone who isn't obviously wealthy or cruel in their own way.
History and Hooks
¤ Grew up as part of the Tirnath Veena tribe who's territory is nestled in the western forest of the Skatay Range. Growing up, he was expected to follow his family's footsteps of becoming a wood-warder within the tribe. However, he suffered a near fatal injury as a very young adult that made the idea of fighting as a life-profession deeply unappealing.¤ Instead, he shifted his passions and began investing his energy into learning craftsmanship. He decided to become a 'gall óglaigh', which translates loosely into 'foreign warriors' in his tribe's language. Primarily, he set out to become a supplier and purveyor for the tribe.¤ He retained his interest in information tracking, however, and eventually found himself drawn towards the Hunter-Scholar bounty boards. He partnered with a pair of Hrothgar who were also looking to get into mark hunting; Kveto and Vojka. The trio is now relatively successful as a hunting group. Kveto and Vojka also serve as translators and 'bodyguards' for Noam, especially when in cities.

Fun Facts Her Miqo'te sept is the Cliff Walkers.
Appearance & Details
height Shorter end of average for Miqo'te.
build A dancer's body. Nimble and wiry.
complexion Tan complexion with freckles on her face and shoulders.
makeup/markings Has three red facial markings on each side of her face. Sometimes wears blush or lip stain, especially when in cities.
hair A very warm honey blonde pulled up into a tall ponytail. Prefers thick bangs and fringe on the sides of her face.
voice Generally sounds enthusiastic and bubbly.
features She has a small scar across the bridge of her nose. Has heterochromia; one golden eye, one purple-tinted hazel eye.
style Adores the color purple. Tends to wear flowy outfits, especially when she may dance. But also has a few comfort outfits that are built for city life. Many of her outfits or accessories have sparrow motifs. She does love jewerly but often doesn't have the time to wear many of her more elaborate pieces outside of cultural dance performances.
weapons/tools She has two quoits she inherited from her mother. As a trainee apothecary, she also often has a bag for herbs and tinctures on her person.
J'nelhah considers herself a privileged person. She grew up in a warm, tight-knit community and family and was freely encouraged to explore the subjects that interested her. Her first 'love' was battle dancing; something she learned from her mother. Her father gifted her a temporary set of wooden quoits to train with when she was seven and she began formally training almost immediately after. In her sept, young tribesmembers undergo a trial as a coming of age ceremony they refer to as The Great Climb. During this journey, the miqo'te learns to experience solitude and life on their own by their own means and often return with a personal revelation and totem that will guide their actions going forward. When J'Nelhah returned from her Climb, she had a new animal companion and a burning desire to travel and learn. Her companion- a sparrow she named Fina- and her set off not long after.Since then, she's traveled to many different regions and learned many different languages, regional traditions, and techniques for problem solving. Most recently, she's taken a formal position as an apothecary apprentice and has finally started to feel the burning need to travel settle in her blood.
Personality
Temperament: Friendly, Creative, Supportive

Nel is as bright as the celestial body her sept follows. Nearly effervescent, she is. Every day is a new day to learn something new, visit somewhere new, or meet someone new. Nel is outgoing, friendly, and optimistic almost to a fault. She's not blind to the darker parts of the world nor to the suffering of others. But she firmly believes that all can be made right with enough time, dedication, and effort. And she is, at the end of the day, more than happy to be the change she wishes to see in the world.
History and Hooks
☀ Grew up in the Cliff Walker sept of the Jackal tribe, located in The Peaks of Gyr Abania. The sept is relatively nomadic and isolated from the other groups that live in The Peaks, but the sept has always been open to friendly contact, especially those who needed refuge or help during the Garlean occupation in the region.☀ Nel set out to travel as part of her personal journey a few years ago. Originally she stuck to the major city-states and their territories, but after meeting Avelle Kolaire in Ul'dah, Nel managed to convince Avelle to bring her to The Emporium: Avelle's business located in Shirogane.☀ Nel still travels on occasion, usually to places within the area of an Aetheryte. But at the moment, she's temporarily settled in Shirogane at the Emporium where she's studying under Batu Kha, an apothecary employed by Avelle.

Quick Info
Gender & Age Male (he/him), appears mid-50s
Occupation Historian, Aetherologist, Black Market Trader
Orientation Aroace
Marital Status Single
Residence Shirogane
Fun Facts People seem to forget details about him very easily. He doesn't mind.
Appearance & Details
height Average height with a slight hunch due to age.
build Physically fit for his age, slender.
complexion Withered with age but still well maintained.
makeup/markings Red dots tattooed on his forehead.
hair A deep blackish grey that's cut into a simple, straight style that sits right above his shoulders.
voice His speaking is often wobbly or tremulous in a stereotypically 'elder' manner; especially the more he's questioned.
features Has a few very aged facial scars.
style Wears old fashioned Hingashi clothing for someone of status or at least wealth. Prefers purples and reds and always wears his hands uncovered. Frequently wears aged but expensive looking jewerly such as earrings, rings, and bracelets.
weapons/tools Doesn't ever seem to be armed. Rarely even seen with bags or tools. At most he has a well-woven and well-worn straw hat he wears frequently.
Hisashi is a difficult man to pin down. He makes it clear what he does (aetherology) and that part is easy to understand and remember. But the mechanics of what he does is... fuzzy at best. Asking him what his job entails invokes a sense of déjà vu; have you already asked him this? Has he already explained what he studies and how he conducts his research?Questions about his past, his life, his family are met with a similar level of placating vagueness. Answers that are designed to be appeasing and that do, initially, fulfill the feelings curiosity. But the information rarely sticks, and while it feels familiar to have the answer be given, the answer itself often feels different and incorrect.
Personality
Temperament: Warm, 'Forgetful', Histrionic

Hisashi is polite and affable but with an easy to percept undercurrent of 'odd'. He comes across as an intelligent but flighty man, prone to wandering distractions and bouts of incomprehension. But while he can frequently embody the essence of a dithering, confused old man, his gaze remains sharp, observant, and slightly judgmental.
History and Hooks
🝍 Hishashi is one of my most NPC-esque alts. He exists primarily as a storytelling character for FC stories and events.🝍 It's not entirely clear when or where (or how) Hisashi was born. There's documentation in Kugane's records for a Hisashi Masaru that could fit; placing him as an immigrant who moved to the city some thirty-odd years ago. Though anything beyond that is sparse.🝍 If one were to dig into the inconsistent and spread out records kept by or about various illicit traders and organizations they might find additional evidence pointing to Hisashi that corroborates the Kugane city records. Though they'd also find records of similar men (either in description of appearance or in name) that date hundreds of years back. In either case, these men all participate in similar illicit acts, trade the same kinds of goods, and stick to the same regions.

Appearance & Details
height Very tall for a midlander woman.
build Very fit, somewhat androgynous.
complexion Very smooth, pale skin.
makeup/markings Lines her eyes with a dark black to help them pop as well as a bright, cool red lip.
hair Pin straight and deep black, styled in a short and sharp style.
voice Very deep but very smooth. Talks slowly and with intention.
features Has no visible markings anywhere on her body beyond the beginning of fine age lines.
style Leans more towards traditional Hingashi and Doman styles though occasionally she'll wear clothing less conspicuous when she's in Limsa Lominsa. Prioritizes reds and blacks.
weapons/tools Frequently has a tanto-style blade on her person as a 'cosmetic' item. She is trained as a fighter, however, and does also have two longer blades she wields for her other work.
Takara is trained in two distinct but overlapping capacities: She is a courtesan and performer. She is also an assassin. As a courtesan and performer, Takara is confident, suave, and commanding. She will not bat her eyelashes at a client nor swoon nor coo nor hang off of their arm. She will tell them what they want and guide them towards obtaining it. She's trained in different forms of dance, singing, food/tea serving rituals, and massage. As an assassin, Takara is cautious, observant, and efficient. Her victims are guided into place, drink their poison eagerly, slit their own throats at her suggestion. She's capable and confident with various styles of blades, though she prefers to fight with swords and prefers to kill with a knife.
Personality
Temperament: Cautious, Patient, Diplomatic

Takara is an exceptionally confident person who can command a crowd with just a smile and wave just as easily as she can blend into one and remain unseen. She's a master manipulator; skilled at controlling the narrative and keeping her clients happy (and her targets unsuspecting). It's a talent that serves her well in both versions of her work. She considers herself a compassionate person and this wouldn't be an untrue assessment. Her manipulative talents and tendencies are strictly work-only. Though her confidence and dominance are always present.
History and Hooks
✾ Takara is one of my most NPC-esque alts. She exists primarily as a storytelling character for FC stories and events.✾ Takara was born in a fishing village in Doma where her family worked as fishermen and traders. She and her family were in Limsa Lominsa for business when Doma was besieged by the Garleans. While her family opted to remain in Limsa Lominsa and attempt to start a new life there, Takara yearned to return home.✾ After the occupation had truly locked into place she traveled back, landing in Kugane where she began to find her way into underground resistance groups and circles. She began working as a courtesan to gain access to clientele that could provide her with information that she could ferry to those who could take advantage of it.✾ After a few years of this she began taking matters into her own hands; poisoning enemies of the resistance, posing as a traveling companion to high ranking officials and luring them to their deaths out on the road. For the many years she worked in this capacity, she held many different identities to maintain safety and security. Eventually she came to own her own property in multiple city-states, Kugane and Limsa Lominsa chief among them, where she worked and lived from.✾ When the Warrior of Light roused the Doman people to rebel openly, Takara left Kugane to join the fight. With her homeland freed, she found herself a bit adrift about what to do and spent some time helping with restoration efforts and continuing her work as a courtesan.✾ Most recently, she's given her Limsa Lominsa property to a colleague, Selene, who's converted it into her own Brothel: The Blue Rose. Takara occasionally visits and considers herself a benefactor.

I hope you enjoyed the mini-profiles of my various RP alts! If you find any of them interesting and want to set up a scene or get some RP rolling, hit me up-ingame or if you can't find me online, try my Discord at AvaZope#1323.I've been roleplaying for nearly two decades (the majority of which has been in MMOs) and I'm comfortable DMing complex scenes. I am down for nearly any kind of RP! I'm very flexible and am willing to RP in multiple platforms. I do prefer long-term plotlines and stories, however I'm totally willing to do shorter, one off scenes.
You thought the amount of actual RP'd alts I had was a lot? hahaha ha ha i have zero self controlBelow are the various important NPCs I've made to supplement my characters' backstories and personal lives. I figured, hey, I need somewhere to easily keep track of them and if I'm going to be taking screenshots for them for my own reference I might as well show them off!I don't RP these characters, really. They certainly don't have actual in-game character stand-ins. That said! If you want to have a connection to them, either in general or as a bridge to make a connection with one of my OCs, I'm totally cool with that. Just let me know so they don't end up taking a life of their own, so to speak.

The two went enlisted after graduating together and served on the same unit for years. Percy was one of the near casualties in the incident that forced Eva off of active duty. Fun Facts If asked how they met, they'll have a different story every time.
Both women have an air of militarism about them, though neither will admit to being part of any specific military or mercenary-military group. They both enjoy visiting cities but neither are particularly inclined to remain in them for any significant duration of time. Smaller villages and towns are more welcome, however.
